Czechoslovak Jewish Victims of Nazism

on Sunday, March 16th at 3:00- 4:30 pm EST,  8 - 9:30 pm CET

The service will be led by Rabbi Norman Patz and Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn. We are honored that Milan Vrbovsky, Consul General of the Slovak Republic in New York, and Arnost Kares, Consul General of the Czech Republic in New York, will participate.

In the Memorial Program, Pavol Miller, Chairman of the Jewish Community in Bratislava will give a short presentation in which he will inform us about Jewish life in Slovakia as it is today.

We are asking those who lost loved ones in 2024 to provide their names by email at shcsj.online@gmail.com by March 9 for inclusion in the Memorial Book.

The Memorial Service Book will be presented in real time during the Memorial Service. Both the Memorial Service Book and Memory Book will be available for download prior to the service.

We hope you can join us to remember and honor our parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, friends, and all the unknown who perished in the Holocaust.


The event is organized by the Society for the History of Czechoslovak Jews with support of the Bohemian Benevolent and Literary Association.
