VOLUNTEER
We are always looking for volunteers to help us research Jewish histories with connections to the region defined by the first Czechoslovak Republic, fundraise, help staff events and contribute to our activities. INTERN
We run an internship programme with NYU that allows history, jewish studies students to get hands on experience working to preserve and promote historical archives. Internships for high school students, students from other universities and graduates are possible by special arrangement. Please email Pavla Niklova at info@shcsj.org or call +1 212 988 1733. Applicants must be fluent in English. Working knowledge of Czech and/or Slovak is preferred but not mandatory.
ATTEND EVENTS
The society runs regular events, including the annual Memorial Service to commemorate all those who passed during the Holocaust in March, an annual Hannukah party, and a lecture series on the subject of history of Czechoslovak Jews. Please refer to the News & Events section for up to date details.

We are in the process of compiling a series of personal and family histories charting the lives of Jews living within the boundaries of the first Czechoslovak Republic. If you have a family story to tell, or would like to contribute original photographs, letters or other materials to the society, please email info@shcsj.org with the subject line "RESEARCH" or call + 1 212 988 1733.
